🠈 Beaver County and City 🠊
Beaver County was carved from Iron County in 1856 with the settlement of the town of Beaver, Utah. The county has grown to a population of 6,629 according to the 2010 census.
Named for dam building semi-aquatic mammals that are plentiful in the area, Beaver County covers 2,592 square miles as it slopes westward from the Tuschar Mountains toward dry juniper covered hills along the Nevada border.
Communities in the county include Beaver (2010 population 3,112), Milford (1,420), and Minersville (907).
